Effective September 1, 2019, anyone with an old misdemeanor marijuana conviction may seek immediate vacation (removal) of the conviction in the court where it was entered. There is no statutory waiting period like for all other misdemeanor convictions. However the marijuana offence must have been committed when the defendant was over age 21.
