Examples: DUI/DWI, Reckless Driving, Hit & Run, Vehicular Homicide & Assault, Attempting to Elude A Police Vehicle, and Driving While License Suspended/Revoked in the 1st or 2nd Degree ( DWLS /DWLR 1 and 2). In 2026, the misdemeanor traffic offenses of Negligent Driving 1st Degree and Reckless Endangerment were added as “serious traffic offenses” in Washington.
